Meet Julie

Prior to founding Leadership Enthusiast in 2021, Julie spent over 12 years at Blizzard Entertainment. During that time, she learned critical lessons about what’s needed for creative teams to thrive. Her niche as a former Learning & Development and HR leader provides a unique skillset that helps her deliver meaningful results for leaders at all levels. Her clients include both large AAA game companies and companies in the tech and start-up space.

Julie’s primary passion is developing others. An expert facilitator, she incorporates heart, humor, curiosity, and strategic thinking in her approach to helping individuals and teams.  She is known for her authenticity and ability to ask insightful questions that create “aha” moments in others.  Highly consultative, her core strength is as a trusted coach and advisor.  She listens keenly and applies useful frameworks to help her clients maximize capacity, minimize interference, and realize their potential.

Julie holds a bachelor’s degree from Hofstra University and earned her master’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Chapman University.  She is a certified executive coach which she earned via the esteemed Hudson Institute of Coaching and holds an ACC credential from the International Coaching Federation. She also holds various training certifications (DiSC, Situational Leadership, etc.) which help amplify her ability to get results.

Outside of work, Julie serves on the Board of Directors for the Girl Scouts of Orange County. She loves supporting young women in building their overall leadership capabilities, especially courage and confidence.  She is an avid world traveler (30 countries and counting) and enjoys hiking and spending time with her husband, Jim, and her wonderful family and friends.
